What product details can I show?
The Far Design approach is to make important information readily visible to your customers. Our developer will structure the product catalogue to ensure that key information is instantly available as the customer clicks on an product or services item. This can be both text and images, laid out as a side panel to the left of the product list. An extended details page can be used to show additional information. You can see Shopper in action at
TFM Publishing's Booklist.

What about delivery charges and tax?
The Shopper template allows delivery charges to be calculated dynamically from the delivery address the customer supplies, and any criteria you need to add regarding the size of the order. Similarly, tax rules can be entered to reflect export orders and zero-listed items. All additional items are listed separately on the customer order confirmations and in the order management system.

What do I need to be able to update my product catalogue?
Just a machine with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+, Netscape Navigator 7, or Firefox 1+ installed. You will be assigned a secure login and password when you sign-up for Shopper. This gives you access to the customised product catalogue where you can maintain your product list. In essence, you can maintain your catalogue and view your orders wherever you can access a internet-connected PC with a modern web browser installed.

I already have my product catalogue on a spreadsheet or database - can I import this into Shopper?
Ask your Far Design developer for assistance. We can normally arrange to import your data at no extra cost.
